The narrow, vertical poles that are supposed to prevent two-way traffic seem a little hard to see. I'm worried that in icy, bad weather we will all be sliding right into them.

I agree that making Undercliff one way would increase safety for motorists and pedestrians. Given the many hazards of our streets in Yonkers--dying trees, overgrown shrubs that prevent visibility around corners, crater-like pot-holes, etc., it's wonderful to come across a relatively simple "fix" for a significant benefit.

Hey, just came from the PHRA meeting. From Mayor Amicone, I learned that: a) I can litter and they will "never come" after me, b) I can park on the sidewalk at Pelton Park and not get a ticket, and c) I can do whatever I want at my house -- including having illegal tenants -- and the city cannot come onto my property.

BTW, I was very happy to learn about this blog, and would love to see the word spread (and a link from parkhillyonkers.org). But one thing that would be really helpful? A contact link! You have no email link anywhere that I can find.
